Charlie Crist, the governor of Florida is thinking about pardoning Jim Morrison of the Doors posthumously. Morrison exposed himself to a Florida audience at a concert in 1969 and was arrested. I’m not going to write much on this. I like the Doors and thought Jim Morrison had a great voice and was talented. To this day, “Touch Me” is one of my favorite songs. The Doors were criticized back then for using a string quartet in the song. Now, it’s common to have a violin player in a rock band. Still, he screwed up and Crist pardoning him is another waste of tax payer money.
If Charlie Crist really wants to do something for society and Jim Morrison’s family, go to France and find his stolen bust from his grave site. The French haven’t done a very good job at finding it. Charlie might even find a place in French society and stay there.
